Left Half of Screen has Horizontal Static on Xbox One X Scorpio Edition

The problem occurred when I stopped receiving party notifications and many notifications in general, aside for LFG post. So thus I decided to power cycle my xbox, because many people have done this and it has fixed their notification problem.

I power cycle my xbox (full shutdown and then unplug everything) to find this



I have checked all the ports on my xbox, TV, and my cables and they are not damaged and are secure in place. I have also factory reseting my xbox and tried editing the video settings manually (with narrator as navagation), still nothing.

Does anyone have any solution? I think this is a software issue, but who knows

swap cables and try a new hdmi port

Just for good measure I'd try the cable on a different device to check if the cable is okay.

If the cable is in proper working order, try to
re-install the console's Operating System by doing a factory reset via USB drive.

If the issue still persists after that factory reset, your console is probably broken and needs to be repaired through

considering you alredy tried with a power cycle + factory reset and that you cheched all your cables, I think that this is a HW issue.

I have an Xbox One X, not the Xbox One X Scorpio edition and mine isn't slow or clunky. I think they made so adjustments to the Xbox One X after the Scorpio edition came out.

I don't own a Scorpio edition, just the regular Xbox One X, and it has become slower over time, not by an awful lot but it definately has. That could be due to over half the HDD being full but it's nowhere near that bad. Do you think it's just related to
the scorpio somehow? I am on the Xbox Insoder programme so that is why sometimes it feels slow I think

I definitely agree the OS feels slow at times (before I was on the insider programme)
