Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 not available at the XBox game store

Perhaps someone has already asked about this before, but I thought I would still ask.

Through my Xbox One console (bought a few days ago), I went to the Xbox game store for the express purpose of buying Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 (and any addons). In fact, one of the only reasons I purchased the Xbox One was because of the backward compatibility
for those 2 games (plus also for State of Decay).

What I saw for both games was that each one was unavailable for purchase at this time. Yikes. Other backward compatibility games were available, but not Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. Another Xbox user told me that these two games might not be available in my region,
although he couldn't imagine that to be the case (I'm in the United States). So right now, I am somewhat stumped. Are these two games not available anymore for the Xbox One? Are they going to be made available again through the Xbox One (since I don't have
a Xbox 360)? Is this my punishment because I still use my PS1 (for GTA 1 and 2), PS2 (for Scarface), PS3, and PS4?

If someone could offer some assistance or explanation, I would greatly appreciate it.

I Can't Buy A Game

I am trying to purchace Left 4 Dead 2 but when I look at it on the store it only comes up as "Left 4 Dead 2 is not currently available." with the game hub option below. What do I have to do in order to purchase this game?

 

Cannot find DLC for Left 4 Dead 1

I need help! I bought left 4 dead and 1500 microsoft points because I wanted to download The Sacrifice campaign for Left 4 Dead 1. The problem came when I looked for this DLC in Xbox Live Marketplace.It was not available for Left 4 Dead 1, just for Left
4 Dead 2. I am from Chile, in Latin America. First I thought that it was a regional problem. But then I realized that none of the DLCs for Left 4 Dead 1 weren`t there. How is this possible? I know people of my country that have Left 4 Dead with Crash Course
(DLC for Left 4 Dead 1).

Please help me, I really want to play The Sacrifice campaign. I bought Microsoft Points just for that campaign. (I did not write in Spanish because in English everyone would understand my problem)

When you say you are in the us

Do you mean you set your account region to the us and not actually in the us that doesn't work

Left4 dead is region locked and us military bases don't count as the us you have to use your host country

If you are receiving any errors you need to post them

 

Console region has no effect on account region

To.match your account region to your physical region you must change it on this website

My account and change my region

Then change the console region

 

Have you tried to complete the purchase via the Xbox.com website? Sometimes you need to buy them online (using the same Microsoft account as your gamertag) and then the game will appear on your Xbox One's My Games & Apps ready for installation.

I guess I will try to buy the games through XBox.com.

In regards to Ngocphi's responses, when I first was setting up the Xbox One console, its was for the United States. I did not list it under a Military Base. Nevertheless, i will also check my region for my Xbox account.

I am hoping that this will work out, since it is the reason I even purchased the console in the first place (or one of the main reasons). I would hate to return the console.

 

When you do purchase the games from xbox.com, make sure you purchase from the Xbox 360 store. these are the links you need
