Normal, tenho dois controles, o mais antigo o led é mais fraco que o mais novo. Apesar de ser um problema de mal contato ou coisa parecida, não afeta a funcionabilidade do controle.

Tenta reiniciar o console por completo. Desliga ele segurando o botão do Xbox no console até ele desligar. Depois é só ligar denovo. Isso acontece comigo de vez em quando, mas normalmente é por causa da internet muito lenta ou algo assim.
