    Launching XBOX App for PC consistently crashes system with an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bugcheck


    Mod team, I'm re-posting with more technical detail proving it's the XBOX App for PC causing the system crash, so that you will hopefully not delete this one. I mean, how is a full system crash that is caused by the XBOX App for PC not worth discussing?

    Launching the XBOX App for PC crashes my PC with an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bugcheck after the 2301.1000.67.0 release was installed on the 16th of January. The crash has continued to happen every time the app is launched, with every version released since then.

    Currently installed version info:

    XBOX App: 2301.1001.5.0
    Gaming Services: 9.73.19001.0

    Windows Version: 10.0.22623.1245

    Everything is 100% up to date. Every other application works. The XBOX App will cause the crash of the system when it is launched. And this did not start happening until the update for that app around January 16th.

    FYI: Former MS Platform Support tech, so if I'm posting, you can assume all the basics were covered.

    You don't want the update. Internet Explore is worth the consistant crashing, dropping of parties, launching apps automatically and not loading the full dashboard. It is worse than ever. You don't need it, trust me.

    Disconnecting from xbox every 30 seconds

    I am also experiencing Xbox App crash every 30 seconds. My Xbox is connected, I can play a game on my Windows PC, but the app crashes every 30 seconds, I have to keep clicking "Stream" and it's annoying. Then it refers me to "Test" my Streaming connection
    and the App says it cant connect to my Xbox, when in fact, I hear my game music playing in the background in the App. Which can't be right.

    I have streamed to my Windows PC since the App Launch and never had connection problems.

    System and App are both up to date.
