Launching Recore disconnects my internet

When I launch the game from the Windows Store, as soon as the loading screen finishes my internet is disconnected. I see the screen with the robot and the message "Press Enter to continue", but when I press nothing happens. If I Alt + Tab the game and try
to reconnect the internet, the game crashes.

Is there anyone getting this issue? I just bought the game and can't play it. I need help.

Can you disconnect your console from the network and try launching the game without internet.

Far Cry 5 review thread

Ugh, well I am enjoying the game when I can play it but I am having some issues with my X1 launch hardware and the game. For some reason, even though I am hooked up to the internet via a wireless connection, it says my ethernet is disconnected and makes the game chug and breaks the audio. Did the power recycle/cache clear but it still does it. Funny thing it works fine once I disconnect from the internet. I have my PS4 hooked up via ethernet so guess I will try that and see (my PS4 works fine with the internet so it isn't that). Never had this happen on my Xbone.

Anyway fun game for the most part, I couldn't access the Arcade without Gold even though there is single player content that has perks that can be carried back into the campaign in it. I definitely got this for the wrong console and this may be my last third party game on my Xbone.Click to expand...

A new ethernet cord fixed all my issues so heads up if anyone gets those weird disconnects. Enjoying the game finally.

It should work.

Delete game

Disconnect console from Internet

Reinstall game while console is disconnected from the Internet

Launch game while console is still disconnected from the Internet

Uninstall the game

Disconnect your console from the Internet

Reinstall the game while your console is disconnected from the Internet

Launch the game while console is still offline.

Which country are you in?

Be aware that ReCore has not launched in all countries yet - for instance, it launches in Australia/NZ on Thursday and Europe on Friday.

Having the same issue, disconnecting the internet when launching allows to start the game.
