Launching games | Game pass - Windows 10

Hi,

Here's my problem:

I cannot launch games that are not installed where my OS is. Let me explain:

Windows is on my SSD C: the games installed on it will launch without problems.

But if I install games on my HDD D: (even after choosing this location from the application) the games will either display a screen of the thumbnail of the game and will close after 1 second or the game will not launch and the Game Pass app will stop at
the same time and need to be closed and re-open.

So I wanted to know if cases or solutions existed for this annoying problem (because this issue is here since the beginning of the beta and for people like me who have no storage on their SSD it's hard to play.

Thank you for contacting forum support.

Sunset Overdrive is now available on Windows 10 and Steam, so here is a few things you should know about!

This game is not an Xbox Play Anywhere game. Users who purchased the game on Xbox One will need to purchase the Windows 10 version as well if they wish to play on Windows.
This game is not a part of Game Pass on Windows 10. It will remain in the Xbox One Game Pass library but that access will not extend to the Windows 10 platform for Game Pass subscribers.
Sunset Overdrive will not have online multiplayer on Windows 10
Sunset Overdrive will only be available via Game Pass on Xbox One and will not be available through Game Pass on Windows 10.
The Windows 10 version of Sunset Overdrive will not have online multiplayer features.
There is no subscription required to play on Windows 10.
As this game is not an Xbox Play Anywhere game, the game saves will not transfer from the Windows 10 platform to the Xbox One platform.

Tezzarrific is correct The Java edition and windows 10 version of minecraft are two separate games also they are both running on different updates most java and bedrock editions of mine craft have already been launched into 16.0 Patch Windows 10 edition
"Xbox/PC Controller Compatible Version" are still stuck in 14.6 patch. But I could recommend upgrading to the Ultimate Game Pass and get the Microsoft Windows 10 version free with Game Pass.

I have the exact same problem, even after a clean install of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

I'm finding that none of the games I download from Game Pass install to C:\XboxGames which I think is contributing to Skywalker Saga hanging on launch.
