Latest Update still has not fixed some crashes of optimized games

Hey, Your build should be able to handle the game smoothly at low-medium settings. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX, update your Nvidia driver and let the GeForce experience optimize the game settings for you.

And if you've already done this and still experiencing crashes, I would suggest re-installing the game.

My Xbox 360 has the latest update and the game still isn’t payable. Is there another option to fix this issue?

The game has just been updated and hasn’t fixed the problem. It still fully crashes my Xbox one x.

I noticed that just before this happened to me I had updated my graphics drivers (nVidia) which causes the "Optimizing for your PC" process to happen on start of Horizon 5. Then the following day the latest patch came and the optimization happened again. While I was able to play the game on that startup, the next time I tried to start I got the c0000005 error, and couldn't get the game to start regardless of how many things I disabled, or after a reboot.

Then I updated my graphics drivers again (luckily nVidia came out with new drivers soon after) to trigger the optimization process again. This worked! I got into the game and played, and then the next day I came back and it was still working.

So I reckon that it has something to do with an error or corruption that must happen when the optimization occurs. If you can get the optimization to trigger again, either by updating a graphics driver, or maybe changing the settings sufficiently like Ubree did, then you might clear the corruption and fix the problem.
