Latest update removed game store pinning (NO GAME PINNING AFTER SUMMER 2016 UPDATE)

Hello everyone, have you noticed that the option to pin a game you want or are interested in from the game store has been removed !?

I really dont understand why xbox one development team have removed this option, it was a great feature ! ...now if i see a game i like i have no way to pin it to my home screen as a reminder!

...was it on purpose to force an immediate game sale.

No more pins?!

Ever since the latest update, the pins feature in the store disappeared. I looked everywhere and tried all buttons but there is no way of pinning games from the store anymore. I used to pin games from the store that I wanted to buy but was not sure if it's
worth it, so when I see the pins, later on, I think about it again and make my decision.

Could you please return this feature?

I will start:

When I move from tile to tile on my home screen, the sound effect is now crackling and popping - this happened RIGHT after the latest update.

In the games store the feature to " PIN " a game you are interested in has now been removed ! ... why ? .. is this on purpose ?

Anyone else have some problems with the latest update, please note them below.

Never used the feature so doesn't bother me I was happy with the update as I can now have background music finally

I wasn't able to remove pins for quite some time (which prevented me from adding out of fear) but with the latest update it's been FIXED!!!

Reading over the latest "Pinned" in these forums gives the impression that the latest X1 console update is a bricker.

Don't they test these updates before releasing them??????

Guess not.

I won't update until XBL demands it.

Part of the new update and not sure if it's an option to remove yet. It wants you to pin favorite games for the most part in custom groupings

Thank you for responding, before this latest update to game bar I could have the party in the background without the overlay and people would hear me. I didn't realise that feature got removed.

It used to work in the background before the latest update. To make it work again, you have to pin it to your desktop:

Step 1: Hit the windows key & the 'g' key at the same time

Step 2: Start or join a party

Step 3: Hit the pin in the top right hand of the party window

This will pin the overlay to your screen when you close it so you might want to move it to a place that isn't in your way.

Not a moderator. Just a person who discovered a work around lol.
