Latest update (OS 10.0.18362.4050) headset problems

this latest update is causing my headset to intermitenly stop working. Headset will function for awhile, then either cut off connection randomly. Also, if it is working alright with out touching any buttons, then you go to actually press a button not
only will it cut out but will also sometimes shut off the controler. All connections, including battery and headset jack, are fine. Controller software is up to date. I remember reading in the update notes that this was a “known issue”. When are they planning
on releasing a patch for this problem?

I can definitely understand your frustration. Though our engineers are constantly striving to improve our services, there are some problems that can slip through the cracks but it's best to make sure that all troubleshooting steps have been taken before
we conclude that the recent update is the problem. That being said, what kind of troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

Perhaps with a little more info on what you have already tried, we may be able to suggest something that works.

You can always leave the programme or change your preview ring until it's sorted.

If known issues you have to wait until its fixed.

Try to clear the system cache by holding down the console shutdown button, once it is off wait 30 seconds and turn it back on.

This issue is still happening and incredibly frustrating. When is a new patch going to be applied to fix this???
