If you go into Poer & startup settings and disable "Automatically download updates and purchases" you shouldn't use more than a couple of hundred kB's every hour.

Also, If you go to Bandwidth usage in Network settings you can see an hour by hour usage for the last 12 hours and a total monthly usage. That should give you a better idea of your usage.

Very interesting unless a recent update is no longer counting that as bandwidth usage on the Xbox One, and I'm not finding anything particularly detailing a change in Bandwidth counting.

Got the same problem here (Italy). My bandwidth usage does not add up videos (amazon prime video) and even games download from gamepass. I downloaded Lego Worlds (4GB) just to try and my bandwidth usage shows only 236MB. Moreover, I'm installing latest RDR2
patch and the download speed in the bandwidth usage page shows just a few kbit/s whilst shows the correct speed (tens of mbit/s) in the queue tab of my apps&games menu.

could you go to setting network bandwidth usage and tell me what your bandwidth usage has been like in the past 12 hours or since you starting downloading it

I use an app provided by my ISP to get overall monthly bandwidth usage, but miss the convenience of checking the XBox option.

As an example, before doing one of the many weekly OS updates of ASA Insider builds +- 450MB, I would check the stats, before and after download, and usually see 1-2MB had been downloaded.

Anyone on a monthly data cap could easily exceed their cap if they have a large game library updating. The last RDR2 update was >7GB which did not show up in the XBox stats, but did in the ISP app.

Mine was an overnight download/install. Roughly 10 hours based on the bandwidth usage in the network settings section.
