    latest update has removed some installed games


    After installing the latest system update for my xbox one s, some games disappeared.

    I have about 7 games, and the others were fine, but Forza Horizon and Rocket League just disappeared, and are now in my 'ready to install' list. From memory, Forza is a 55-60Gb download, which is not an insignificant amount of data to download! (Australia,
    that is - 51st on countries internet ranking).

    I have tried a power recycle of the xbox to see if the status changed but unfortunately it did not.

    Was there a bug in the update that caused this? Or is it normal to have to re-download games after an update?

    Is there any way I can get around having to download the entire game(s) again?

    Xbox One update

    The text will go back to normal once the console is removed from the program and has re installed the 1608 update.

    You did not need to remove the console from the program to resolve this issue it would have been removed in later updates. This text is called Pseudolocalization..

    Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

    this latest update reset all my settings. just had to reboot after getting the update installed.

    Some people are reporting that the latest title update has caused some connectivity issues in the game....maybe remove it from your console, clear the cache and let it install again and see if it makes a difference. Are you having issues with the online
    of any other game?

    For Call of Duty ELITE remove the app and re-download it and for MW3 try to remove one of the latest updates and launch the game and install that update so it refreshes.

    Hi,

    Whether you buy your games digitally or on disc, the update process is the same. Can you play online with your game? If you can, your game already has the latest update. The latest update will be installed when the game downloads.

    If you have your console set to 'Instant On' you should hardly ever be prompted for updates as they are installed when the console is in stand-by.

    Another option to find the update (I didn't see it on my updates screen for some reason) is to click the "System Requirements" on the game itself. On that screen there was a link to the installation of the latest update. After installing that (it's a big
    update so it'll take time), the game installed perfectly without issues.
