    LATEST UPDATE - CAN NOT INSTALL ANY GAMES TO COMPLETION


    AFTER THE LATEST UPDATE (FEBRUARY 2023) OR THERE ABOUTS

    I have been unable to install any games (disc) to completion. they all freeze (or stop) at or around 50%, with some games stopping at around 25%.

    I have tried the OSU1 flash to no avail,

    tried the OSU2, it fails every time.

    tried the factory reset numerous times to no avail.

    there was a new small update march 14th or 15th that did not fix this issue. after flashing OSU1 on the 14th or 15th there was a software update, quite small...

    current OS 10.0.22621.3680 (xb_fit_2303ni230309-1945)

    shell 2302.0.2303.9003

    i have multiple xbox's the issue is with both boxes. - before the update. there were no issues installing games.. all games that were installed prior to the update work just fine.

    I would like to roll the OS back if possible, but, I can not find where to obtain the prior OS. I found 10.0.19041.5496 (rs_xbox_release_2011.210105-1930), but it fails at or about 1% with E101 00000504 8b050041

    Hi, is the Xbox you originally purchased the game on a part of the latest preview update and the other Xbox isn't ?

    There is a known issue regarding this situation.

    • Certain content (games, apps, DLC) purchased in the new Store may only be available on consoles enrolled in the latest Preview update. This means…

    • Games purchased on a console running the latest Preview update can only be played on that console or other consoles running the latest Preview update.

    • Games purchased via Xbox.com can be played on any console.

    • Games purchased on a console running the previous update can be played on any console.

    If you do a defrag and it still loads slow then just delete the game from your system and redownload it, That should fully fix any loading issues you have.

    Also some people like to leave the game to fully download at the actual download screen rather than go to their garage when the download hits playable, Don't know if it makes any difference but some people think it does.

    I have had to delete the game in the past and do a full redownload to fix loading into games late.

    Hi, it looks like the console was updating from a game disc and the disc was removed before the update completed. Can you remember which disc was last in the console? If not then start with the latest game you purchased, maybe GTA 5? Pop the disc into the
    disc drive and the console should complete the update.
