    Hi I haven't turned my xbox one x on in a while, maybe a month or two. So yesterday or the day before it wanted to do a bunch of updates (Turned on to try to play Ori). So I said sure and let it install. I was in the Insider preview ring.

    It restarted and it went to uh oh something's not right, I never got to the dashboard. I tried to reset it and get e102 00000c01 8007045d. Ok So I unplugged it, and it booted up to the dashboard (looked like a new user interface)! I played 10 minutes of Ori and then decided let's leave the insider ring. So I left insider ring and then let it do the update/ reset. From here it will not boot.

    Now it won't start at all. Resets both give me e102 00000c01 8007045d. And a usb offline with OSU1 just downloaded now won't install and gives me error 101 00000503 80070003.

    Says OS Version 18363.9135 blah 191_release_xbox_dev_2002.200219-1515. Is this older/newer than the latest public. Does it still think I'm on insider preview? If this is newest OS then will waiting for a newer OSU1 allow it to update?

    Am I SOL? Only solution to pay microsoft 250$ for an update issue they created?

    It’s a useless brick now, if I buy a new one today from the store will it get the same Update of death and turn that one into a useless brick also??
