Latest Alpha broke the media remotes guide button...

Hi.

When you are using an app and want to get back to the Xbox home screen with the media remote, tap the Power On/Home button (the big "Xbox" button at the top) to reveal the guide and select "Home."

If you wish to completely close an app, press the Power On/Home button to access the guide, navigate the guide to highlight the app you wish to close, tap the Menu (hamburger) button, and navigate to "Quit" on the context menu.

It seems that even Logitech has stopped responding on their official thread and I can't get any info from MS about it. My conspiracy theory is MS broke these commands purposefully to push the sale of their official media remote. It's too coincidental that
the update to enable their own remote also broke third party remotes.

Hi,it does sound like you have a controller somewhere that is constantly having the guide button pressed, do you have a media remote. Check the guide buttons on the controllers to make sure that one of them isn't stuck down. Do you have a guitar hero controller
at all?

I believe if you have AT&T U-verse, you can use your 360 as an additional Receiver (I'm not sure if that's a US only thing or not). So that's why the media remote has all the buttons of the standard remote for the DVR box. I'm pretty sure the 360 doesn't
allow you to record shows to the console's hard drive, but it would talk to your main DVR receiver and tell it what shows you want to record and then the 360 can actually access your DVR receiver to stream the shows you've recorded.

Maybe they still have plans on trying to get more cable providers to allow the 360 to act as an additional receiver as well, so they went ahead and included those buttons in advance.
