Latency with sound during remote play

    Latency with sound during remote play


    It’s seems that while input latency is noticeable, but decent, sounds are much more delayed, which kinda breaks the immersion, especially in f1 2020. Is this a known issue?

    I thought that solution but then I m going to lose the ARC Function which is handy because I use one remote to control sound !

    Serius latency I get when I use the bitstream option. If i use uncompressed sound, latency drops significantly , however I feel that with bitstream (DTS) although the sound is compressed it feels richer.

    Finally the best quality is via optical as i send the sound directly to the soundbar!

    I m afraid in the end I will have to choose between Quality vs Convenience.

    Remote streaming has a lot of work to go. As of right now, the latency when trying to play outside your house makes it impossible to do competitive games realistically.

Please scroll down to "Network Latency" and follow the instructions to potentially fix your network issue. Please check back and let us know if this fixes your issue.

    I really dont understand why gamers are so mad coming from a gamer

    My company was having latency issues with a remote location due to a bad ISP. Even with our own VPN latency was ridiculous 200-500ms per packet. Installed a terminal server and rdp latency dropped to 36ms on average. We constantly send live video and imagery
    to and from the remote location back to our database server in another city. Both imagery and video required a constant connection just like a gaming system would.

    Xbox series x no sound

    I have the same issue - lost sound on TV time to time and today when the sound was gone I tried to play remotely on phone and there was no problem with sound. Then disconnected from remote and sound was back to TV.

    Try this ^^^ It works for me every time.
