Late refunds?

Here in the community we do not have access to account/billing information, so we cannot tell you why, okay? But what i can tell you is that usually Refunds takes from 3 - 5 business days to go back to your payment method or more depending on your bank institution, but on the Xbox website there was a report that the Refund processes had a little delay, so that might be why this is happening.

If the refund was approved by Xbox more than 5 business days ago (taking into account that Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not business days), and you have received an email notifying you of the approval, then please respond to that email. This is the only way to get back in touch with the team that originally handled your refund request.

However, if you haven't received any email notification of your refund approval, you should contact Xbox Support directly for further assistance. They are the only ones who can help you with this problem.

Hi Andrew. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor. If the refund request has been approved, the funds are likely already on the way to your bank. At this point may not be possible to cancel the request, if it's out of Microsoft's hands. You should've got an email with a reference number confirming the refund, reply to that email to let the team know that the refund is no longer needed. If the refund status already shows "approved" then its already too late. The refund has already been processed.

Refunds usually take 5-7 business days to be processed.maybe longer depending on your payment method.

Also,the refund system has been having issues lately so your refund could take a lot longer.
