Would I know if you get the same result when connecting your console to another TV in your house?

If affirmative, I can suggest you to perform other possible solutions:

A. Go to console settings > system > console info > reset > select “keep my games and apps”.

Just make sure to know your account credentials before this process.

You've said you've got an 'Xbox X'. Are you saying you've got the older Xbox One X, or the current generation Series X?

I know this might be frustrating for you, but be aware that updates themselves don't break consoles. If the console stops working correctly after an update, generally it means that there was something wrong with the console before the update occurred. Correlation does not imply causation.

No my console is not enrolled in the Xbox insider program.

Well, i have tried several different things.

First i followed a guide on what order to turn things on to get a correct HDMI handshake. First Tv, then AVR and last Xbox. Change Hdmi port on tv to another HDMIK port and back again. Gave no difference.

I have tried to connect the Xbox directly to the Tv, same result.

The i read in a forum that someone have had luck in disabling Dolby Vision, still no luck. Another suggested to turn of low latency on the Xbox as i sometimes collides with the LG Tv settings, No luck.

I have tried to switch to 60 Hz instead of 120 Hz, no difference. I have disabled VRR, still no luck.

I feel that i have tried all possible things to disable and enable with out any difference!?

Upgraded my girl's Xbox One to an X last Christmas and there is a significant upgrade in quality even at 1080p. 10/10 recommend doing especially if you have any plans to upgrade to a 4K screen down the road, which I would recommend as it's beautiful
