I believe that my doubt already exists in many ways but I have not found a satisfactory answer, so it follows my dilemma.

When doing the xbox connection test it accuses a high latency, ranging from 130 to 200, while in pc tests the ping is considerably lower. What server is used in the console test? Any questions to be made about this? I've already changed DNS, released doors
and nothing. I can't activate the stream due to high latency. I appreciate it if anyone can help.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with high latency. First off we recommend to reboot your network hardware. If you can also connect wired do that also and see if it is still high latency. You can also try out the guide for

troubleshoot streaming Xbox app. Go to the section: While game streaming, I’m having too
much lag or latency, or my audio/video glitches frequently

downloads and streaming, but multiplayer gaming is right out.

Some of the speeds they advertise are around 1.5 MBPS.

Mobile broadband will have lower latency than satellite, but lower bandwidth. Having said that, the latency's still pretty high
(200ms or so).



You could mix and match - use satellite for streaming video and downloading DLC and content, then switch to mobile broadband for gaming.

you might have fast internet but it may have high latency with uploading so image quality will be sacrificed (lower bitrate) to allow the controller to work with less latency.

streaming movies would be ok as they can buffer, you can't buffer a game stream as you have to control the actions in realtime.

Looking for some help guy's I was playing my son's new Xbox last night and I couldn't get into a party with my mate and every time I found an opponent in Fifa I lost connection straight away and when I had a look the settings it was strict and Latency was
166ms. I've had a quick look this morning and it's now an open setting but still same latency , so will I be able to play online ok with that high a latency ? I wont have a chance to try it so just thought I would ask the experts on here
