    My account HotDuckling9940 was hack around January and Ive been trying for the past couple months to get it back with no help from Microsoft i have repeaditly called when it first happened and told them what had happened but got met with the same thing
    fill out the form to that i say i have a million times but i will again so i do then it comes back that it wasnt sufficent enough even though i put all the right stuff and im unable to change my password to get back in because the security questions were changed
    so i gave up for a month or 2 thinking it was hopeless but now i see this guy playing on my account with my name on it and its making me mad because its my account not his woth my name on it so anything he does affects my name and my character i can literly
    show u a picture of my drivers licens tell u the last game i brought before i got hacked and the credit card number all i need js help please

    Just keep filing that report!! It sounds frustrating but contact support as well.

    This is what you need to explain to the customer support team.

    1. that your account has been compromised.

    2. the hacker has changed your security proofs so you can not go in and update your password to your account nor can you update your security proofs.

    They should then fill out a form on their end to escalate this up to their escalations team.

    They will ask you questions about the account and the consoles that it has been on previously.

    They will also have you create a new MS account ONCE you do this DO NOT sign into account.xbox.com or any console with that new account because it will create a Xbox profile for you.

    Once the escalations team looks everything over and determines that the account truly has been compromised they will then move everything over to that new account. THIS IS WHY YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR NEW ACCOUNT TO HAVE A XBOX PROFILE ATTACHED TO IT BECAUSE
    IF THERE IS ONE THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE EVERYTHING ON YOUR COMPROMISED ACCOUNT TO THE NEW ACCOUNT.

    Once the form is filled out and sent up to the escalations team the normal turn around is approximately 72 hours with the issue that is going on in the world it may take a little bit longer.

    The only way it lets me reset my password is with a number that ends in 34 but nobody in my family has that number i used to be able to reset it by email but the hacker changed that

    I have the email i used to create the account and I had them send me an email to show that im the owner of my account so then i gave them the code they sent me and they confirmed it was my email but then they wouldnt allow me to change my password because
    i needed a number which i didnt have because the hacker changed my security thing on how i can change my password. And i was just saying that like if u needed identification that it was my profile and that i was the one who made it i can show u my ID to prove
