    Language Seclection of Xbox Cloud Gaming on Steam Deck


    I want to play games in Xbox Cloud Gaming (Xcloud) in Chinese on my Steam Deck. My region for Xcloud is en-US, some games do not have a language selection inside the game and the zh-HK region does not support Xcloud. Previously, I can set the preferred language to zh-HK on the Microsoft Edge app and play Xcloud with en-US to make the Cloud game be Chinese. However, this method does not work now. I don't know what I can do to set the game to Chinese again,

    Right now cloud gaming use your physical location / IP address to set the language. (And of course, if the game supports the desired language the system is going to use it)

    If you're located physically on the US is not possible to change the language to a different one that English.

    Hello Manuela, the steam deck is the only device that I’ve used for cloud gaming and I am not using a vpn or anything similar on the steam deck. I’ve just tried going onto Xbox cloud gaming with the steam deck connected to a personal hotspot and I’m getting the same message and I set up cloud gaming using the article you have linked.
