Language changed in My XBOX LIVE Account and Microsoft Account !!!

Unfortunately the same happened to me in November- Russian language now on your console by any chance? I have now had to close my original xbox live account as the language cannot be changed again for another year! i did get a fairly quick refund though,
but as the live account is now in Russian and cannot be changed back, the refunded microsoft points were a bit of a waste! Microsoft need to look at this as i have lost faith in the console now, and will focus more on my PS3 unless they make it easier to transfer
languages on their Xbox live accounts!!

If text in the Xbox Dashboard appears in another language, you may need to change your console or Xbox LIVE account language. Here’s how:

Change your Xbox 360 console language

To change the language setting on your Xbox 360 console, follow these steps:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
   
2. Select Console Settings.
3. Select Language and Locale.
4. Select Language.
5. Select the language that you want to use.

Change your Xbox LIVE account language

If your Xbox LIVE account is set to a country or region that supports multiple languages (for example, Canada), you can change your Xbox LIVE account language. Here’s how:

1. 1. Go to Billing Account Information.
      
   2. Sign in using your Microsoft account.
   3. If multiple languages are supported for your country or region, select a language from Preferred Language.
      
      Note The Preferred Language option does not appear if only one language is supported (for example, the United States).

It may take up to 24 hours for this change to take effect on your Xbox 360 console.

The country or region of an Xbox LIVE account cannot be changed once the account is created, but you can select a different language if more than one is available.

Some content on Xbox LIVE will follow your account language settings, not your console settings. Unfortunately, once you've recovered your account or used it in another location the language settings change to that of your account.

If you live in a region where multiple language options are selectable then you will need to change your billing details on the Microsoft side to reflect this change. Unfortunately, achievements that were already changed over will stay that way, there is no
way to get them to change back to English.

Go to Billing Account Information.

Click Save.

Each County/Region has specific languages that are available in Xbox Live. If you're changing your Xbox Live Region to one that has multiple languages available, you'll be given the option to choose your "preferred language". If that option is not available,
that means that only one language is available for that Region.
