language and game ultimate payment

For the second part, it sounds to me like the OP has paid for Game Pass Ultimate for the month of September but, whenever they try to play online,. the system tells them they need to buy Live Gold, which they clearly shouldn't need to if they've got GPU

1- You're trying to change the language on your console, but it doesn't change it?

To change the language settings, press the menu key of the controller > Settings > System > Location section and select Language & location. Next, use the Language menu to make your selection.

2- Can you explain a little bit better this second issue mate, I don't quite understood it.

games. We do not recommend attempting to obtain Portuguese language packages that are not supported by the developer.

Hello bigrik80, it's a location/language "bug".

Set your console location, language and language location according with your region and try again.

Even being free this month, this game will require a valid local payment option and a purchase confirmation to become downloadble, in my case the issue happened because I'm in Brazil, but my console was configured to use language English from USA. It worked
properly after set location as Brazil + language as Portuguese from Brazil.

It just means that you cannot cancel the 24 months of game pass ultimate to reduce the payments. The console is still yours after the payments.
