Lancia Delta S4

Has anyone done the bucket list where you have to rally this car through the forest at midnight on a time limit? I've been yelling at my tv for 20 minutes and a controller went across the room in anger over the ****ing mission. This is a great game expect
for this crap. I need some tips on how to beat it. No matter how straight a line I go to the finish I ALWAYS run out of time 200-400 meters away from the goal.
