LAN / System Link Play

I'm trying to find out how to set u a LAN with my two xbox ones, I went and bought two copies of Halo:MCC and I can't find where to set up a LAN. Can anyone help please

System Link (Lan)

I'm having problems linking my original Xbox with my neighbors so we can play old school halo (boredom is painful, haha). Any assistance would be appreciated.

 

System-Link & the future of LANs

Hey everyone, hope all is well!

I own two Xbox 360's and regularly system-link with my brother. To me system-link (LAN) has been the most enjoyable aspect of my gaming experience. I have been gaming for about 10-15 years now, and enjoy both online as well as local play. I try and get friends
together whenever time permits and host system-link games which range from 6-16 people. To me, it's not about the game, it's about the experiences had with friends while playing; something best offered in a LAN setting.

My question to you all is: Where do you see the future of system-link (LAN) gaming? Next gen consoles with/without system-link?

I ask this because I see an increasingly large number of titles coming out without system-link options, thus "forcing" or limiting the user experience to online (or local screen play)

I have had Xbox Live since it came out and it is a wonderful service. Really, I enjoy it. However, I want to have the option to host LAN parties and play with others without sharing a small screen. I want to know what the Xbox community thinks about System-link
features.

Do you want to see more titles with system-link options? or do you think system-link is outdated and online-only multiplayer is the future for those wanting more than 4 player games?
