Discus and support LAN streaming from Xbox to Android in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Do we know if there are any plans to support LAN streaming to Android devices?     LAN streaming from Xbox to Android


    Do we know if there are any plans to support LAN streaming to Android devices? I have used the Xbox Companion app on my laptop to do this. I was accepted into the console streaming preview, but my internet isn't good enough. If I am missing something, please let me know. I am new to Xbox and use this feature all the time on my PS4. I had no idea this wasn't a feature on Xbox.

    Xbox streaming app

    Xbox streaming it's available in all the region's from Xbox.

    The app it's Currently it's only available on Android and on private flight on iOS.

    try bluestacks and install the xbox app from the playstore and you can stream again, also works on my android phone so i use android on my win10 pc. not perfect, but it works.

    Streaming on the console companion on PC is not supported on the Xbox series consoles. Only Xbox One.

    The only platform that you can currently stream from is iOS and Android, using the Xbox app.

    We're using a Seagate Dockstar to attach USB drives to the network via SMB. It uses "Pogoplug" type technology only better (SMB). AFAIK there is no version number. It just works.

    The SMB shared drive(s) can be seen and movies streamed directly over LAN/WLAN by Mac Desktops and Laptops, PCs, iPad, and Android phones.

    The XB360 is updated to whatever the latest rev is - and is hard wired on the same gigabit network switch as the router - so it's on the LAN. It can see PCs on the network - but we do not and won't ever use Windows Media Center. All media players in our
    system run independently of any computer running and stream direct from the web or NAS.

    you can rip cd's to the hdd and that is it, you can stream movies, music and pictures to your xbox 360 from any pc or lan storage.
