    Laggy freezing dashboard, cant factory reset or OSU1 method. Any chance to revive it?


    So my brother enrolled on the insider. New xbox s. Started to get laggy dashboard. So i said without knowing that was on Insider. Just do a factory reset. So now its trapped in a loop without being able to factory reset. I tried the osu1 but of course it wont work for insider. I removed his account from the insider on my win computer. But factory reset keeps failing.

    Game crashes shortly after launching with no erorr message.

    Does factory reseting via the USB method any different than factory reseting the console with the console? I have already factory reseted using the console but not the USB method.

    Yes, the console was purchased second hand. I tried to factory reset from the console and it got stuck at 59%. I got error 201 after restarting it. I then downloaded OSU1 and installed from a USB. I can sign in and get to the home screen. As soon as i
    move the D pad to navigate it freezes completely.

    What do you mean by slow and laggy dashboard ? What makes you think its Mixer ? Are you in the preview program by chance ?

    It is an Xbox one S (model 1681).

    No I’m not in the Insider Program.

    No external storage units

    Yes I tried a factory reset (both with games unaffected, and a ‘wipe all’ one).

    I’ve tried everything from the trouble shooting method . Now it’s half way through a reset and unable to update.

    And I’ve tried rebooting from a flash drive with a PC file (Osu1?)
