Lag streaming using built in video player

When I stream from my Windows 8.1 computer the video lags and only plays for about 10 seconds then freezes in a never ending cycle. Thinking it's something related with Windows 8.1 but since I'm using the app from the xbox hoping it's just something simple

Streaming interrupted

I'm not sure what the root of the problem with streaming lag is, mostly because I think there could be a lot of reasons for it. It could be equipment that you're running through, your Internet speed, your broadband-width, the game itself, the site you're streaming to (commonly Twitch), etc. My hubby was on a streaming kick for a long time and built up a nice collection of (expensive) equipment -- a custom-built PC, an El Gado to stream through, etc. He streamed to Twitch and had more than a hundred followers in just a few weeks' time. Still, we couldn't get rid of the lag issue and, combined with data-cap overages from Comcast, we had to hang it up.

 

Google FIber & Black Ops 2

There was a video on Youtube highlighting the lag built into this game. The video maker was playing on an LAN match to show that there is simply lag placed in the game. Obviously, the lag gets worse online, but based on what I saw of that video, nothing
will get rid of the atrocious lag in this game.

I think there was another video showing the lag in splitscreen as well.

I think I've seen this (at my house ), and I am trying to understand if it is a the same issue. Do you have by any chance the possibility to try a PlayTo from another machine/phone/tablet to the very same Xbox? Did it worked before installing Win8.1?

I suspect a config issue on the PC side, but I want to make sure.
