kps download speed

I have an xbox one.

The xbox has been getting very low download speeds, in kps not mps. System tests shows 0.0 (once 0.09) mps download, 3.34 mps upload. On the pc, https://www.speedtest.net/ shows speeds of 14.05 mps download 4.98 mps upload.

Have gone through all of the usual tests. Cable wire into the pc's router slot. Connecting xbox directly to the satellite modem. All of the results are similar. Even tried restarting the console.

I do have metered internet. This month I ran out of usage and my speed was cut back. Next day it was reset to normal.

My subscription is good until August.

What else can I try?

I'm having the same problem if you find a fix please let us(me) know because none of the reply's so far helped me.

Rarely does that happen to me but when it does, I usually do a network test on the console then cancel the download. When I restart it, it works fine.

it all depends on who else is using the internet in your household, you say you have sat connection in that case maybe getting throttled as more people are using their connections more due to the ongoing global issue.

Also live might be getting hammered too as many more are online.

i would call your ISP to confirm.

Still very low kps speed on xbox. No other in house usage at the same time.

I know there are several times in the day when the Xbox Servers are really bogged down. I also know that anytime my wife is streaming in 4K, and using facebook that the internet really takes a hit.
