Kogan KALED55UHDUC not able to be controlled by Xbox One X IR Blaster

So I have an Xbox One X and managed to get a 4K LED TV off a neighbour, it's a Kogan KALED55UHDUC Model.

My old Kogan was only 1080 but was able to be controlled through my Xbox One and Kinect Setup (I sold it) and my Xbox One X.

I'm having so many dramas trying to setup the XBOX to control the new 4K TV....

I go into Settings > TV & OneGuide > Device Control and select TV from my devices list for all of this, so if it is wrong please tell me?

- First when I go through "TV Setup" the XBOX says "Your TV has been set up." "We automatically detected your TV and know how to control it." This is apparently a HDMI thing, but it DOES NOT control it. I have even used an IR Emitter Extender on the TV,
even confirmed it is working by looking through my phone camera... It seems to think it is remote code T1480.

So, then I try the Manual Setup (had to do this on the old Kogan) and then go through sending the Mute command a zillion times, and get "We cannot tell what TV you have" because none if the commands worked, even sitting the console within 2ft facing the
IR Reciever on the TV, or using the IR Emitter Extender Cable, it just doesn't work...

So... Lets try and enterthe model number manually; KALED55UHDUC - Only ones available are KALED55UHDUA and KALED55UHDUD - basically the same TV with some cosmetic updates, but the Same IR Remote! When I select one of them, the spinning circle appears in
the middle of the screen then dissapears and nothing happens. I try the other one and same thing. I try one of the other 100 models that are not the same as mine and it goes to the next screen saying its all set up.

I am seriously loosing my s**t over this now, playing with send power off twice,manually entering all of Kogan's remote codes manually, and nothing seems to work? Any other ideas people? Anyone have one of these three models or a KALED55UHDB working with
the Xbox?

Also, not a hardware issue, IR Blaster controls the Yamaha Audio Reciver just fine, even with the extender attached and my old TV was fine to - needed the double poweroff though.... Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated, I don't wanna cry myself
to sleep anymore.

Thank you Microsoft! What a Joke! For nearly 6 months I have had a problem with this and been sent back to my TV manufacturer for a resolution, only to have you guys update the xbox software and REMOVE the compatible options for device control. I still
have photos of the television when the models were on there so I will be taking this up with the ACCC. Either you make the Xbox work with my current TV or replace my TV with a comparative, compatible model.

Thanks for the update on the power cycle not working. It could be the 4K model you have is not compatible for remote. Have you tried getting with the manufacturer to see if they can help. The only assistance we have is

how to set up TV.

Hello Chubodea,

If your TV is no longer listed as compatible through one guide, then there is no troubleshooting to fix that. Microsoft/Xbox would not replace your TV for that or any reason. If you have any suggestions for Xbox regarding adding compatibility between One
Guide and your TV model, please use the
Xbox Ideas Hub.

Can anyone please help with this issue? It is not a problem woth my TV and I do not believe it is a compatability problem...

I can select the model number, KALED55UHDUA, press next, the little spinny cirlces apear for a breif moment and then nothing happens...

I go back, select the model number KALED55UHDUD, press next, still nothing...

I select a model I know is not the same as my television and the Xbox says it has set up my tv -[Mod removed profanity]? This is a software glitch within the xbox, one guide and device control software and I want someone to even just aknowledge
it? If the model numbers were incompatible, why would they even be selectable options?

just to be sure it's not a caching related issue,

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

Also please double check if the console is fully updated (by connecting it to Xbox Live if it isn't already connected)
