Kinect xbox one, echo cancellation

If you are unable to find a kinect adaptor for the now discontinued kinect there is another way to use certain features thay kinect offers using an amazon echo (alexa) device or app check out the link for more info.

It'll have the built in Kinect Microphone. You know, the one that currently engages in endless echoes.

The Kinect can be used as a microphone. When the device is connected, there will be a setting allowing you enable the kinect microphone. This will allow your son to communicate through that and you'll still hear the rest of chat through the tv.

The only issue is that the other players may get an echo from their own voices and a lot of background noise, as the kinect doesn't really have noise cancellation.

Next thing to try is to calibrate the Kinect if you are using one, try that out as that may be causing the echo. The link below will guide you through:
