Kinect Voice Commands ie open fxnow

Discus and support Kinect Voice Commands ie open fxnow in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Is anyone else having issues with the command 'open fxnow'? It never works for me.     Kinect Voice Commands ie open fxnow


    Is anyone else having issues with the command 'open fxnow'? It never works for me. It always opens up FoxNow instead.

    Directv Local Channels

    Whenever I try to use voice commands to tune to local channels, ie "watch KNXV" or "watch ABC", the kinect tunes to the nation channel instead of the local one. Is there a way to change the channel binding for voice commands?

    Unfortunately at this time I don't think there is a voice command to access this menu - at least none that I've found and none are listed on the Kinect Voice Command sheet. Here's a list of current voice commands:

    Various Kinect and controller Issues

    I have some of the same issues with the Kinect sensor. It will ignore me giving it a voice command(ie xbox on) but the sensor will respond to my roomie giving it the same command. From another room. Also when streaming to twitch if the sensor is plugged
    in the audio of the stream is mangled. If the kinect is unplugged the audio on the stream is un-mangled.

    How could Microsoft get Xbox one so wrong

    The developers know (or will soon know) what can be done with the Kinect. I have some trepidation as to the future of the Kinect but I think when they do find out what it can do even if it is just adding voice commands for in-game fuctionality (ie BF4)
    or facial/avatar creation (ie Kinect Sports Rivals) or using hand gestures (ie Plants vs Zombies boss mode) they will provide more functionality. Grammar nazi's forgive prease for run-on sentence.

    Turning off voice commands completely

    Voice commands will only work if you have a kinect or a headset. Cortana has to be turned on first before you use her voice commands, and if you do not have a kinect, then the Xbox voice commands will not be turned on.
