    Kinect Adapter For Xbox One X


    Hi I've had my Xbox One Kinect sensor since Xbox One got released, it's been a really useful tool for getting into games quickly, capturing video clips and doing intros to my Battlefield 4 montages. The problem now is that I purchased a Xbox One X Scorpion
    console and found out the Kinect sensor needs a adapter, looked on eBay and the price to buy an adapter is astronomical. Just wondering if there's any left in stock at Microsoft?

    For both the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, a Kinect adapter is required in order to link them up. For more information feel free to visit our Kinect Adapter
    Info page.     Unfortunately, the adapter itself is no longer manufactured so you might have a hard time finding one.

    Currently the only place to find them is ebay or possibly any local game shops that might have some in stock. Microsoft is currently out of stock and the adapters may have been discontinued.

    Kinect Support for XBox One X

    The Kinect will work on the Xbox One X. It just needs the adapter. Assuming it's the right adapter, then it should work fine with Kinect games and voice commands.

    The Kinect is definitely not built into the Xbox One S or X. That saleman was misinformed.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?

    Hi milter,

    No problem! To answer your second question, yes the power adapter is compatible for Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Windows 10 and is the only Kinect adapter available. You can use the adapter to connect a Kinect for Xbox One to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One
    X or you can use the adapter to connect either a Kinect for Xbox One or Kinect for Windows v2 to a Windows 10 PC.
