Kinect 2.0 doesn't work while using the companion app

Kinect 2.0 uses IR so lighting doesn't matter.

People act as if the Kinect is something new that we have to get used to... Well here are the shocker people, we already tried out the Kinect for years now, and it failed, it failed really badly. A lot of people bought a Kinect, but almost every Kinect game
did not sell well at all.

You people might say that the Kinect 2.0 is more advanced and picks up your movements better than ever, but it is still doing the same thing at the end of the day.

-Will I be able to walk forward and jump around like we do in normal games while fully playing with a Kinect 2.0?

-Will I be able to aim a gun better while playing a competitive FPS while fully using the Kinect 2.0?

-Will I be able to slash a sword and dodge like I do in Dark Souls, The Witcher 2 or Skyrim better while fully using the Kinect 2.0?

-Will I be able to play ANY of the mainstream games better while fully using the Kinect 2.0?

What's that, you say I can't do any of that? You say that all I can do with a Kinect 2.0 is play on the rail games like that FABLE Carriage ride game and play Dancing games? OH BOY, oh boy, here I come future! I can't wait!!! I have my dancing shoes all
ready for the epic Kinect 2.0 release!!!

As I said, the Kinect is still nothing but a gimmick. The only games they will make that fully use the Kinect are kiddie on the rail games and extremely casual dance games that you play when bored. The other games will only use part of the Kinect, like the
voice recognition as a side gimmicky add on for the game. No real games will ever be made that fully use the Kinect.

Can I jump around like I did in Assassins Creed while fully using the Kinect 2.0? Can I play Battlefield 4 and accurately shoot people and fly a helicopter while fully using the Kinect 2.0? Can I slash my sword and dodge in games like Dark Souls, The
Witcher 2 and Skyrim while fully using the Kinect 2.0? You say I can't? Well then, I will expect more of the same then.

No one wants it to be all Inclusive, it's in Addition.

he is on about using kinect and kinect games via xbox companion app, how did you get from that to streaming online.
