    Kids need to view their own time usage


    I have two major issues with the XBOX parental controls.


    1. How can the kid see their own usage history? I hate babysitting their usage and they ask about their time every day. I want to set it and let them take some responsibility rather than hovering over them all the time. My kid seems to be able to see how much time they have left for the current day, but not for the week or month or just for yesterday?


    2. I'm 99% sure I can't set a time limit for the full week, only for individual days. I want to set it for 14 hours per week, but that's much different than 2 hours a day. I want him to learn to manage his time on his own and be responsible. Again, this results in parents being asked every day "how much time do I have?" I just want to set it, forget it, and be a happier parent. Odd as it may sound this REALLY wears on me.

    As a parent of 2 kids each with their own Xbox 360 and their own Ones I find this stupid. You simply research things for your kids first. This is no different than a kid ordering all kinds of pay per views off Dish. As an adult you take the time to insure
    it does not happen.

    I'm afraid, that due to privacy issues, such a function might not be implemented.

    While you can keep track of your kid's console usage with the activity reports as XBF Javier R already suggested, all other "workarounds" like using the Xbox App and having your kid as a friend that notifies you when the kid goes online, can be avoided by
    your kid when he chooses to "appear offline" in his profile settings.

    Is there a certain reason WHY you need the real time information instead of the activity report? Maybe if you explained the situation and need for a real time notification, we might find a different solution?

    My usage from your data source is invalid for sure as just my own streaming sessions were longer than those timings and I am always viewing my own stream from my PC (2 hours streamed from 09/01 to 11/30 according to Mixer Analytics).

    I surely watched more than 2min here and there with all the new games released in the past couple of months.
