    Kicking back to Dashboard (Cold booting & Unplugging don't work)


    I am being kicked back to Dashboard, after 5 sec of load screen then 5 sec of black, when i try to play Dyeing light (with the disk). My digital copy of Shadow of Mordor plays just fine. Cold booting & Unplugging the console don't work. I left the console
    unplugged over night. I thought it may have to do with the could servers because i am getting an error saying xbox services are unavailable and when testing the multiplayer connections the "Teredor" error shows up. i could care less about multiplayer just
    want to play off line anyways. disconnecting the network dose not help either.

    Games not launching. Being Kicked to Dashboard.

    I bought Star Wars: Battlefront and went through the process of downloading and updating the game. When I went to start it up, the game sat there in the background screen for 10 seconds before booting me back to the dashboard with no explanation whatsoever.
    I looked up how to fix this by doing a cold reboot to flush the RAM and that didn't work even after multiple attempts. Switching to power save didn't work, and neither did unplugging the power brick. This has me very frustrated as nothing I've done so far
    seems to work. I may try reinstalling the game and repeating the cold reboot process to see if maybe that will make a difference. Does anybody else come across this issue or have any suggestions?

    I would try unplugging the Xbox for about 30 seconds and then try booting it back up again

    ^^ What he said. I had an issue with FIFA, where it kept kicking me out to the dashboard. Unplugged the power cable from the One, plugged it back in, booted the console back up.... no problems.

    Xfinity / Comcast cable box (RNG110) No audio

    I had the same problem when switching cable boxes to this model from my other box. Initially after setting up this in Devices there was no audio. After exiting and rerunning the TVApp audio kicked in. I don't really know what I did to get it to work. I suggest
    cold rebooting. Shut down and unplug the machine for a few seconds to insure it's not in Connected Standby, the boot up and rerun the TV App.

    Do you have the games load and then kick you back to dashboard? try unplugging your console from wall outlet?
