KI Newbie :: Need Help!

Need help with Killer Instinct Definitive for Windows 10 and Xbox One. I purchased the digital version of the game and it downloaded it. However, when I try to play the game I don't have any DLC or game content. I only have the "shareware" version **free
version of the game where you they give you one character to fight as...

Has anyone else come across this or know the solution to this? I know one thing which might cause a problem is I purchased this with a different email account/Microsoft account. Can someone tell me how to check to switch to make sure I'm using the right
account also? Not sure if this would be the problem just a guess.

Newbie needs help

Is it digital or a disc?

Did you hit the home button (big illuminated button on the center of your controller) and then highlight the game and “quit” it?

Also, if it still doesn’t work power cycle your console by holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it turns off. Turn it on and try again.

If none of that works uninstall the game and reinstall it.

When you say "turn on the socket," are you referring to a power strip/surge protector? I can tell you that the Xbox One cannot be plugged into a power strip and needs to be plugged directly into the wall. The reason is, the power brick for the xbox already
has a built-in surge protector, and plugging into another surge protector actually chokes the supply of power to the system. This can not only cause problems initially, but causes the system to work harder during startup, and can ultimately lead to components
failing.
