Keyboard not working properly

Two things happened at the same time, it all started when i was playing a game and pressed Esc in order to open the menu but instead it went to my computers initial screen, my mouse wasn't appearing and when i pressed any button on my keyboard it didn't work and made a default windows 10 harp sound, and i couldnt even ctrl alt del. Apparently only when i pressed M the game opened, but once i pressed esc the same thing keeps happening. Alt+F4 solved the problem and closed the game for good, but once i opened chrome i couldn't type, each button had a different functionality than it should.

Oppened youtube through favourite button on top screen of chrome (Mouse is still clicking normally on both buttons) and once i scrolled with middle mouse button, it zoomed in and out instead. Also, the game works perfectly except for the esc button

Things i tried to do:

Reseted keyboard by connecting it and pressind windows+alt, it did reset but didn't solve the problem.

Tried using virtual keyboard, strangely, the virtual keyboard was having the exact same problems from the USB keyboard.

Excuse me, what game did you encounter this problem while playing? Do you encounter the same problem when using the keyboard while playing other games?

First of all, it is suggested that you can turn on Settings and turn off the following three switches in the Accessibility-keyboard page.

Next, you can try the following scheme:

I. Update or reinstall the keyboard driver: Find the keyboard device in the Device Manager, right-click and select "Update Driver" or "Uninstall Device" and then restart the computer.

II. run the keyboard troubleshooter: select "keyboard" in "update and security" > "troubleshooting" > "additional troubleshooter" and run the troubleshooter.

III.Perform a clean boot

The method is as follows

1. Click Windows+R and enter msconfig.

2. Open the system configuration and select the General tab-selective startup.

3. Remove the check of loading startup items.

4. Go to the Services tab-click Hide All microsoft Services in the lower left corner, and then click Disable All.

5. Click OK and restart the computer. (Please be sure to hide all microsoft services first, and then click Disable All, otherwise it may lead to unforeseen problems such as being unable to enter the system.)

See if the problem will recur.

Note: Clean boot is to start Windows with a minimum set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether background programs interfere with your game or program and help you find out the cause of the problem. It will help you get back on track.

Is your keyboard still working properly in this interface?

You can try to see if the corresponding window pops up by pressing the win key. Or try the win key + tab key to see if you can still switch windows. We suspect that you are in a frozen window state.

Is your mouse working properly? You can also try to open the on-screen keyboard ctrl + win + o and try to type using the on-screen keyboard. (If your keyboard is still working properly)

Can you try the keyboard on a PC? Does the computer detect the keyboard properly?

Now why would Microsoft put a usable keyboard on tablet/handheld device that is supposed to work seamlessly with your Xbox? They haven't bothered to get the Youtube App running properly so I'm not surprised they just ignored a keyboard. They must have not
had enough money to hire a "keyboard" guy.

Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help you resolve the issue:

Check if the keyboard is properly connected to your Xbox controller. If it’s not, try reconnecting it and see if it works.
Reset your Xbox controller by holding the Xbox button on the controller and selecting “Restart”. After restarting the controller, check if the Xbox properly detects the keyboard.
Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox Keyboard device in the Device Manager. To uninstall the Xbox Keyboard device, right-click on it in the Device Manager and select “Uninstall Device”. After uninstalling it, restart your Xbox and check if the keyboard works. If it doesn’t, reinstall the Xbox Keyboard device.
