    Keyboard not working in fortnite


    I just purchased a new RK61 keyboard to play fortnite with on my xbox one s but now my keyboard inputs except for left ctrl Wed and right fn have been blocked and I can't move or play the game this issue is happening on all of my scalable keyboards please help

    Keyboard works but mouse doesn’t on fortnite Xbox one

    I start up fortnite then plug in my keyboard and mouse and only my keyboard works how do i fix this ?
    What model of keyboard and mouse are you using?. There is of course a work in progress for both, I highly suggest using a wired Keyboard and mouse only at this current moment on fortnite.

    Currently only Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the title) is playable with keyboard and mouse.

    All other games, including Fortnite do NOT work with Keyboard and Mouse on the Xbox One.

    If you want to play Fortnite with Keyboard and Mouse, you can do that on a regular Windows PC.

    Keyboards

    It will work straight away for text input during messaging and the likes.

    Every time the Xbox would show a virtual keyboard on the screen for text input, the keyboard will work.

    As for games, the game has to be specifically made to support keyboards.

    Not all games are able to use keyboards.

    For example Fortnite and Minecraft are popular examples for games that work with an USB Keyboard and USB mouse.
