    Keyboard controls not working for MS Flight simulator 2020


    I'm using a gaming Laptop to play the flight sim, I'm using an xbox controller which works fine. When I try to use the keyboard for certain things (trim, direction (d) etc nothing happens. Is this a known problem or is my laptop running something in the
    background which is maybe disabling the keyboard functions? I'm not very good on PC lingo so any help would be much appreciated,

    Microsoft Flight Simulator

    You will be happy to know that a standard Xbox controller is enough to play Flight Simulator 2020 and any other game on Xbox consoles. Microsoft has yet to officially announce what accessories will work on the Xbox console version of Flight Simulator 2020. For more information on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, see their website.

    Hi,

    I've found a link with all the keyboard controls
    here

    To play Flight Simulator 2020 you don't actually need any piloting skills. If you set the skill level to easy you don't need to concern yourself with the more complex parts of the simulation.

    If you want simple controls, buy an Xbox One controller. The game fully supports these controllers. Some elements may still need the keyboard, but for a rookie, the controller is the best way to start.

    There are also loads of video guides on YouTube.

    Like I said, I think it's with them, a bit like with autopilot hardware for Pc where the manufacturer had to work together with Ms for Flight Simulator 2020 to make their hardware compatible again.
