Keyboard and Mouse Support IOS Minecraft issues

I’ve seen a few others have this question go unanswered so I’ll give it my attempt.

I purchased a  Lightning to USB 3 adapter and have been using it with a wireless keyboard and mouse to play Minecraft on a IPad Air 3, the devices connected seamlessly to the IPad and continues to have no issue, however when my friend attempts to use a second brand new dongle (or even the one that works on the iPad) on a iPhone 13 and the keyboard works as expected everywhere however the mouse is just stuck in place and won’t let me click or move again till I exit the game, however if I interact with my finger and the screen will move. As mentioned before swapping the dongles makes no change and the one that won’t work on the iPhone will work on the iPad. Turning on assistive touch makes the character be able to look around whoever the cursor isn’t locked with the crosshairs making the game unplayable. Why is it working with one device and not the other, especially considering the IPad is older than the iPhone, both are at their respective highest update. I’ve tried all the basic things like restarting and unplugging so please only constitutive Answers as I’ve spent hours troubleshooting this issue that seems to be more related to Minecraft.
