Keyboard and joypad issues

Hello boys and girls... my son recently upgraded to keyboard and mouse... and hes little brother as pressed some of the buttons... and now it wont work with the joypad or keyboard... its limited to a couple of commands and narrator's every button you press
can some 1 pls help cant find the issue anywhere on line . Thank you

Xbox one.. corsair keyboard.. am struggling too get in too the settings as it only let's me go left and right and press enter thts it ... put narrator's every button I press .. thank you for the reply

Have you tried a soft reset keeping all games and apps ? And could you give us some more information as to what device you are using

Yes, I agree with that, Playing FPS using keyboard + Mouse is more dinamic with the joypad

I prefer play FPS Games using Keyboard + Mouse and Games Like Resident Evil and Racing using Joypad

I much prefer using a joypad over a mouse and keyboard.

In my experience the mouse just ends up running up and down the keys and it becomes chaos :-/

no video game is ever authentic (dance and excercise games excluded)...you are sitting there with a joypad/keyboard and mouse playing a virtual story. Unless its a game about playing games....the level of reality involved is not really there
