Key already used

Was it a used game perhaps? you didn't state that in your post. Any game that comes with a codecard/sheet from a used game retailer, you can assume the code has been already utilized and in most cases has.

If you've installed the Games For Windows Client and tried redeeming the code that way, have you tried adding the dashes with the code?

That could be the problem.

But if not, as long as you have the original receipt and the UPC code is undamaged you should be able to send / email the company a copy of the purchase.

Example : Clear photo of original receipt from the retailer and the game's code you're trying to activate.

In some cases the company might require you to send them the original receipt.

But for this, if the place you bought it from is good with their customers you should be able to return the game and get another copy with a working code...but some retailers may say that once you opened the game...it's yours to bother with.

Dodo gave me a Active pin nunber for Xbox live Gold subscription claimed on 23/08/2015. This is the 1st time using the code given by dodo texted to my mobile & entered the active pin & states been activated before Xbox stated they are not responsable for
the code i was given as it is part of a package deal with Dodo so Xbox stated that they have to give me a code that hasnt been used or activated before. The problem is dodo refuses to provide me with another code as they are stating that i activated the code
& will expire out after 90 days & i will be given a new code then. Well i am not happy at all & friend advised me to call the iNSW onbudsman & make a formal complaint about the issue & the ISP dodo to see what can be done about & come to an agreement that
is satisfactory
