Keeps signing me into the wrong Minecraft account

I have multiple email addresses. Let's call the relevant ones Address A and Address P. I use Address P for most things, but Address A for Minecraft. I've been playing on Account A for over a decade, and would like to continue to do so. However, when I try to log in using Address A, it switches to Address P and asks me to buy the game all over again. How do I unlink the 2 addresses so I can play on my regular account? I don't see Address P anywhere in my Microsoft account settings.

Hi there! I will do my best to help here.

First, let's check your accounts through the web if you really have two separate Microsoft accounts with address A & P.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com website and sign out first the account that's currently signed in. Once done, sign in again each of your email addresses A & P then visit https://account.xbox.com/Profile if they have the same Xbox profile/gamertag or not. If they show the same gamertag, that would mean that they're on the same Microsoft account and both may be aliases of your account. You can also check your aliases through https://account.microsoft.com > Your info > Edit account info.

At the title screen, don't press "Play." Click on the tool button in the lower right corner.

See if the “Local server multiplayer” option is turned on

click “Play” and create a world or load a previous world.
