Keep having to type in my router password on my Xbox..

Hello KingMalakii, you are referring to your Microsoft account password on Xbox or the password of your home internet network.

In both cases it may be some bug in the system that is causing the console not to save the password.

Try to do the procedures below.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

After you reset, you can choose the automatic sign-in mode for your Microsoft account in your console, which means when it calls, it will automatically sign in to your account.

A really simple update I would like to see on Xbox One that it should have already is wifi Saved passwords for all places i login to! I travel with my Xbox One alot and hate having to keep asking for the password or find the router box to type in that long
code to start playing my xbox over and again! please vote with me to make sure this happens in 2014!

Additional information:

All other devices connect to my router. I am able to connect to Xbox Live on my tablet where I play Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

When I trry to connect it lists my router's name, but when I type in my password, it states "can not connect to network. Please check spelling of router name and or password. But as I stated everything else connects fine, so there is not an issue with the
router's name or password.

Please could someone give any guidance.

actually i setup my router a while back it was the same type as b4 supplied by my isp so i didnt have to change the NAT settings but if its your nat

type in your internet browser IE or firefox which ever you use type 192.168.1.1 and the user name is admin and password is password usually from there find Wan/Wlan settings it should have NAT options somewhere ill post a guide but first need to know which
type of router you have netgear,linksys or DLink etc.?

I have a NAT Setting on my router but it is set to on? When I have it on automatic my NAT type stays open. I don't know why DMZ won't keep my NAT type open.
