Keep having to put disc in

When flicking from one game to another my son keeps having to put game discs into his Xbox One. I thought that when games discs are first put into the console, they get installed/ copied onto the hard drive so that the disc isn't needed every time the game
is played?

Can you replace the disc game with a download game and keep same info

I bought Forza 5 disc, and love it so much, having to stop to reload the disc because my wife either put a video or another game in the player is too much. Can I sell my current disc, then download a new Forza 5, and keep the same info? My cars, I have an
F1 for $2mil credits, and videos and such.

All Xbox one problems here

I'm sure you all have heard about this one. I got a error message saying xbox is having trouble reading blu ray disc today when i went to play Ghosts (0x91d70000). This is the first time this has happened it was totally random. The disc worked after i ejected
it and put it back in. Should I be worried? Keep in mind I take care of my disc and console like its a child.

No,you still need to put the disc in to verify it.

Disc based games need to be installed as Blu-ray drives can't run fast enough read a game directly from the disc but you still need to put the disc in the drive for whatever game it is you are playing.

If you have it on disc its a disc reader problem. Just keep putting the game in until it starts.My xbox does it to me all the time

Normally you would have to put the disc in the console and keep it in there for the system to recognize that you have the license for the DLC

So when you put the disc in the console and go to the game to play it, it says

"Do you own this game or app if so to sign into the account that purchased the game or app?"

This is with the disc in the console?

With disc gamesthe license for the games is on the disc so you have to keep the disc in the console in order to play.

I'm having the same problem, every game works but the halo 4 disc 2. it keeps coming up with an error message,

saying it has failed to install and that I should put in disc one
