    keep getting kicked out of xbox party chats


    whenever i join my friends xbox party chat it gives me the notification that i have joined, but then when i go to check the party, it’s as if i never joined. Sometimes it takes a while until it kicks me out of the party, but for that duration of time i’m stuck “connecting” and then it kicks me out with no notification. I’ve tried restarting, changing internet’s, checking my NAT type, plugging the console out, getting my friends to invite me but none of it works, if anyone has a troubleshoot please help!!

    Hello Paris,

    It sometimes happens that a party chat will fail/disconnect and kick members out. (The symptoms of this are often getting multiple notifications that everyone else left the party.) Were you able to try rejoining or creating a new party?

    On the other hand, if the notification specifically mentioned being 'kicked out' this means the party host ejected you from chat. You would still be able to join other parties or create your own.

    Have you tried testing your connection on a different internet based device in your house? It may just be the network, and you may need a replacement.

    any solution to this? i have the same modem and constantly get kicked out of parties and chats and booted from xbox live while trying to play COD Ghosts. very annoying.
