    Keep getting booted offline due to code: Caterpillar


    I keep getting booted off and it really gets me annoyed. This happens so much and I keep having to bug your support on trying to fix it and nothing works. I would like to resolve this issue with Destiny/ Bungie Servers.

    Another thing you should do is submit a negative player review so that you dont get in any more games with the player and like digital said your ISP can change your ip address i would do that as soon as possable.

    Why do you guys ban people for dumb things but when it comes to something where they NEED to be ban you guys do nothing EVERY time you guys tell me to post here nothing happens the same person has been booting me off almost everyday for months I have contacted
    you guys multiple times and you guys do nothing about it I should have to contact my network provider you guys should do your jobs I get ban for being in an mw2 nodded lobby but this guy has been booting me offline for MONTHS I'm really getting tired of this
    I've already filed complaints so don't say to do that either and don't say your gonna investigate it either cause I've heard that before also..

    Yes, there's an error code.. 2 actually. One with error code "hawk" and the other "caterpillar".

    Hey mate, you've done the right thing by reporting them, that's as much as you can on the Xbox side of things, really contacting you ISP is the best thing to do, please see at the link for more information:

    People have sometimes used off-Xbox software to get the IP address of that gamertag and boot it off Xbox Live, only Xbox Live enforcement team can do that if they suspect the gamertag is breaking the rules. Others are not allowed so they use software so
    they can ban users without reporting them to the Xbox Live enforcement team. If you have been booted report the person that did it to the ISP as it can constitute DOS attacks which by the way is illegal.

    I would also let your isp know as ddos attack is illegal. Xbox can't do much . If you know there game tag report and block them 👍
