    Tried to sum it up with the title as much as possible. Basically I've been in the Insider program for a couple years, and about a year ago added his console to my Insider program profile. He recently joined the Insider program, back when they announced console streaming for all insiders.

    Yesterday I unenrolled his console from the program using the Insider App, going to Settings, and then Manage Devices. They're both named so I'm positive it was the correct console, and after it was unenrolled it downloaded an update and had to go through the initial setup again.

    While he's logged into his profile, and using the Insider App, he gets the following message when trying to enroll his console under his Insider profile.

    "Already registered. To make changes, sign in with the same account that signed up for this preview on this device."

    Have you tried downloading the Insider app, enrolling your console, waiting for a few hours, then going back in to the app and unenrolling (as it should now show in the list of consoles)?

    XBOX INSIDER PROGRAM UNENROLL ME!!!!

    You can remove your console from the program by the Xbox One console with the Xbox Insider Hub installed. To stop participating in the program on that console, launch the Xbox Insider Hub app and go to Settings > Manage Devices. From there,
    you can unenroll any console registered to you.

    Note Unenrollment can take up to 72 hours to complete, during which time you may still receive console, game, or app updates. When the unenrollment process is complete, your console may be reset to factory defaults. If resetting your console to factory
    defaults is required, your data will not be erased.

    This isn't an option for me as I bought the console used and the previous owner enrolled but I do not have access to their profile to unenroll and it doesn't show my console as enrolled under my gamertag. However it is certainly enrolled.

    I just un-enrolled both my consoles from the Xbox Insider program and now it's working properly. I don't know if it was working before that, I wish I had tested a game before unenrolling.

    Well, except for Witcher 3 GOTY. But that could be a different issue.
