On https://beta.support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status you can try to report a service outage issue. There is also a button to contact the official support again. Maybe
trying the text based chat might be a better way than phone.

First of, check the Xbox Live Service Status to see if there are any issues in your area.

Also look at the Xbox One System Update Solution support page that may help.

We have done all this and hard resets problem persists Microsoft has assured me iit's a server update error that is currently being worked on and advised to try again tommorow and reconnect with them if problem continues to persist

Could you go to someone's house and download the manual update to a memory stick?

I have been assured the system in not faulty through research this error code first appeared in windows 7 and has to do with the server being unable to establish proper date and time probably because updates are time based the more updates a system has
missed the more likely there will be an issue installing all the new software. Systems are constantly synking with the server to avoid errors thats why the system has to update every time the server does miss enough of them and this is what happens, its
the price of being late to the game im sure Microsoft will fix the issue promptly to avoid bad press and maintain brand quality.

Error 0x80072F8F somehow hints at an issue with wrong time and dates or SSL certificate problems.

So if your console is properly connected online and thus could get the proper time and date, it might be that Microsoft has trouble with an SSL certificate on their servers, and the only thing you can do is to wait until they get it fixed.

If you never had the console running until you could sign in to the dashboard, you need to wait until Microsoft fixes it themselves. Please contact the support again if they have an update on the situation.
