Just to be sure, "Leave Preview" in manage screen has the same effect of "Remove Device",...

Did you read my original post? it's not a connection problem. it's a hardware problem on multiple devices! HDMI/screen on/off...

Oh and the software update isn't showing after removing the preview account/device.

I have tried an offline update, it shows the same after the update is the same........................

Here's how to remove your console from the Xbox Preview program:

Open the Xbox Preview Dashboard app.

Select Registration.

Under Manage flights, select Change.

Note If you have more than one console in the program, you can change their statuses by using Manage other consoles.

Under Manage programs, select Remove, and then select Submit. You'll be prompted to select a reason for leaving.

Ok well I would suggest leaving the Xbox Update Preview program. Here's how:

How to leave the Xbox One update preview program

Whether you’re selling or giving your Xbox away, or just don’t want to participate anymore, you should remove it from the update preview program. If you’ve already sold or gifted your Xbox, you can launch the Xbox Insider Hub on another console or a Windows
10 PC and follow these same directions.

1. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC.
   
2. On the main landing page, select Settings.
3. Select Manage devices and choose the one you want to remove from the program.
   
4. Select Done.

Leaving the Xbox One Update Preview is just as easy as joining it. You can remove yourself from the Xbox One Update Preview by following these steps:

1. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One console.
2. On the main landing page, select Insider content.
3. Under System, select Xbox One Update Preview.
   
4. Select Join or Manage.
5. At the very bottom select Unenroll.

Once you leave the program, I suggest doing a soft factory reset to download the live update.

Just before I leave, I thought it might help some people if I told you about my discovery today!

I accidentally right-clicked on a jigsaw in the "Downloadablejigsaws" screen and ... BINGO!!!! I got the option to remove that jigsaw from the downloadable set, together with the note that I could nonetheless retrieve it from the Cloud ... just like the
option which I used to get when I clicked "Manage puzzles" on that screen.

So the opton hasn't been removed, it has just been hidden from users ))))
